Making coffee data easy to read
FrieslandCampina asked me to create a double page infographic for MELK magazine about how people in the Netherlands drink their coffee.
The article brought together a lot of small facts: how much coffee people drink, which brewing methods they prefer, how coffee habits differ across the country and how milk coffees were growing in popularity.
The challenge was to make all that information feel clear and inviting, without turning the spread into a dry collection of numbers. It needed to work as a magazine spread first: something you can scan quickly, but also spend more time with.
